Who can go to Howdy Day Camp?
• Any girl may attend. Girls who are not currently Girl Scouts must pay the $45 Girl Scout registration fee at www.gsctx.org
• Adult volunteers are needed for a variety of positions; we’ll work with you to find the place where you will be most comfortable when you fill out the Adult Volunteer questions you’ll find with our registration link. You can volunteer for the entire week or a single day. To Volunteer, you must be a fully Registered Girl Scout Adult member with a background check BEFORE the first day of camp.
• Activities are provided for children of volunteers including the Broncos for boys entering Kindergarten through 8th and Pixies for all children 3 months through pre-school.
What will Day Camp cost?
Fees include a t-shirt and all program costs. Note that we require everyone to wear the camp T-shirt every day. If you don’t want to wash every day, you can order extra shirts at a small additional cost. Adult volunteers receive one t-shirt free.
Registration must be completed and all forms submitted by May 1, 2026, to secure your spot. Any registrations received after this date are considered late and will require Program Director approval, a $10 late fee, and the accompaniment of an adult volunteer. While we will attempt to provide T-shirts for those who register late, please be aware that sizing will be limited and availability is not guaranteed.
Refund policy: Our refund policy is strictly based on the date of cancellation. You will receive a full refund if you cancel by May 1. For cancellations made between May 2 and May 15, your refund will be the registration fee minus $15 to offset the cost of supplies purchased in advance. Please note that no refunds will be issued after May 15.
