Programs and Opportunities

LEGO Robotics

The Bryan/College Station area has a Girl Scout sponsored FIRST LEGO League (FLL) Challenge team! This STEM opportunity for girls from 4th-8th grade (GS Juniors and Cadettes) uses LEGO MINDSTORMS EV3 robots to teach teamwork, programming, project planning, research, and embraces the tenets of the Girl Scout Promise and Law. A local competition offers a chance for friendly competition with 30-40 other teams, and could lead to regional and world-level competition! For more information, visit!

There are FIRST opportunities for other ages too. If parents or other GS leaders are interested in any of these programs, please contact
