You MUST attend one of the Howdy Day Camp Training per state regulations. The preference is for all new adult volunteers to attend one of the Saturday training at Camp Howdy. If you have previous experience options include the Saturday training, a virtual training, or a weekday evening training.

For Unit Leaders, RaNap Leaders, Aides who are not able to attend skills day and have permission to attend this training

Bring the following to the Day Camp Training when at Camp Howdy (5321 Jones Road):
- Any adult-related paperwork not previously provided (e.g., health forms, proof of completion of youth protection training).
- Old manual, if you have one from last year.
- Chairs (we do not have many seats left under the pavilion).
- Pen or pencil for notes.
- Water bottles (we will be hiking around camp to visit your unit).
- If you are a Unit Leader, RaNap Leader, or an Aide you are expected to stay for lunch. You will need to bring a plate, bowl, cup, fork, and spoon. If you have at least 5 years of Day Camp experience and you know you will not be staying for lunch, please let the Adult Registrar know so that we do not purchase an excessive amount of food for the training.
Bring the following to the Day Camp Training when at Girl Scout House (2512 Rountree Dr., Bryan):
- Any adult-related paperwork not previously provided (e.g., health forms, proof of completion of youth protection training).
- Old manual, if you have one from last year.
- Pen or pencil for notes.
